Pilot bearing question

I've got my 4bt bolted up to a '92 F250 ZF 5 speed using the Ford bread truck adapter and flywheel. I will be using an 11" clutch from a '92 F250 4x4. Any one know what to use for a pilot bearing? My bore on the flywheel measures 1.874" and the stub on the trans input shaft measures .667" Is there anything stock that will work ?? Or do I just need to go to a bearing supply house and find one? Thanks.

Measure a 6303-2RS for size. Do NOT use a double metallic shielded relube bearing in this application. Use only a double plastic sealed non-relube type.

NAPA 6303-2RSJ , made by SKF. I hope you have better luck with the master/slave than I have but I love the ZF over the t18!

I tried to use the master/slave out of the donor truck. It checked out ok. I got everything hooked up but I was not getting enough travel on the slave and it dripped. Took trans back out. Bought new master, line, and slave from Advance. Hooked it up and it leaked at the line/slave connection. Exchanged line/slave under warranty but same problem. Bought a line/slave from Oreileys and the connection would not even click into place. I was getting pissed then. Ordered some fittings and a line from summit racing and that cured the leaking connection. Bolted trans up a third time but still was not getting enough slave travel. Bled for like 4-6 hours but still could not get full travel. Bought another new master from Oreileys and Bam! Finally everything was working! Check out these fittings as a alternative to the factory lines.

A bearing is much better than a bushing. I wish my 5.9 was set up for one.

The day after I got my truck going a friend called looking for a driveshaft. Turns out he broke a ear on it pressing on a new ujoint (Advance). It was about 1mm over sized and he did not notice.

Beware of all the crappy parts out there!

SKF 6303 2RSJEM is what I used and it works with the m5od. had to search high and low for it. clutch and masters are matched. I used the slave for the trans and made a bracket to adapt the 90 f150 master to my 01 f150 firewall <a href="http://s596.photobucket.com/albums/tt41/taggmann99/frankenford/?action=view&current=IMG_1349.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt41/taggmann99/frankenford/IMG_1349.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Size does matter! LOL The master bore does need to match the slave. Make, model, and year does not matter. Napa website shows all the bore size. All of the full size Fords I looked at were the same. I don't know if the newer stuff is. I did try a the 89 and a 92 master with no luck. I am running a 86 master with a 89 trans/slave. All that matters is if you get proper travel on the throwout bearing (.4125" min.) and pedal feel.

ford found a way to make it frustrating. the easy way out is to make sure you just get all the same year and model parts. I got a 90 ford m5od and a new slave to go in it because I ruined the corroded coupling ( notorious) plugged my 01 master hose into it and the smaller master from the newer truck would not move the slave enough to disengage the clutch......so that's when I got a 90 master and adapted it to my firewall. hope this helps someone.
