    Hello bush65,

I have a question/idea that I thought you might be able to help me with. If I recall correctly I think you might have mentioned in a post that Cummins 4bt's and 6bt's are expensive and hard to come buy down under. I was thinking about the idea of filling a container with engines and shipping them to Australia. What do you think about an idea of this nature? Please let me know what you think.

This idea stems from me wanting to get my hands on some Simex tires a few years back and I thought about shipping a container of them up here and selling them, but I never did it, I am sure they would sell though.

I appreciate any feedback you can give me. Just to give you and idea of what is available up here, I just came across 18 6bt's for sale at $1800.00 each or they could be had for less if someone wanted more than one. They are all in running condition.

    Thanks.

    Hi mate,
i just noticed in your tag line on your posts you mention you've got a 4bd1t with a mxa gearbox in your rover. at some stage i'd really like to do something similar to my 1985 isuzu county.

i was just hoping you might be able to pass on a bit general info about everything engine and drivetrain related if you did the gearbox swap yourself. the main things i'm interested in are the turbo ,especially if it was added to a NA motor, and also how you went about putting the isuzu gearbox in as well as where you sourced parts from for all of the above.

any info you might be able to dig up would be greatly apperciated.

    Cheers
    Scott
