    Default 4bt with TH400 - Torque Converter ?

I just had a 4BT and TH400 stuffed into my 72 Early Bronco with the fuel lines run and I am ready to finish up all my plumbing and wiring. The one thing I can't seem to get is the right torque converter for my setup.

The 4BT is stock and the TH400 has been rebuilt with the plan to put a camper body (a "Bronco" Camper) on the rig Plus be able to tow a light Horse trailer.

Does anyone have any sources for the correct torque converter I should get?

    Thanks
    Bob W

I would say something that locks up at a very low rpm. since a diesel makes torque so low, it would be rather dumb to have a converter with a 1500 lockup

    Here's a P/N to research:
    Allison TC290 Torque converter

Since this is an old post maybe this P/N will help someone else.
