Default rotary to inline pump turbo

Found inline p7100 and want to put on one of my 4b,s. Not looking for sled pulling power but need more than it has stock. It is a pooch. Have stock turbo - 465 trans 3:73 rears. Already put new 3inch exhaust on. Wondering if the turbo is going to be enough? I did tweek the pump on it and helped but got inline for a steal. Have heard a lot about the he341 but have yet to even see one for sale. Must be like the yeti. See a lot of he351 but no 341. Thanx..

I don't have any solid facts about your pump question. But I did get beat up trying to find out about the he341. Not sure were it came up with that name because anywere else I found it, its called an HY35w. But if thats the turbo you want I can tell you that it only came on the 03 and early 04 5.9's. And if you can't find one locally then use. http://www.car-part.com/index.htm I haven't actually bought anything using that site yet, so I have know idea how up to date it is. Good luck

FWIW, I'm hoping that HE341 + intercooler + 100hp TDC injectors + fuel pin + 3200 gov spring = 200+HP, Which should be a pile easier than a pump swap.

Also FWIW, I got my HE341 buy calling diesel performace shops to see if they had any stock take offs. Paid $350 after 3 phone calls.

By inline p7100 pump..... its specfically for the 4BT and not the 6BT? You simply cannot plug 2 of the 6 injector lines to make it work on the 4BT......

P7100 pumps on the 4B are rare in themselves... why I'm asking (vs the 6B p7100 pumps are plentiful)

Inline pump for the 4bt not 6bt - That much I did know that you just can not plug 2 holes.

Just like the sound of these and the fact once it is tuned the are the way to go.

The problem is its not called a P7100 on the 4bt. Its called a P3000. I tried going the P7100 route, but the guys n the Cummins forum told me that wouldn't work.

There is one P7100 and its for a 6BT. The inline pump for the 4BT is called a P3000. The two cannot be interchanged.

You are wrong, P7100 pumps came on 4bt's. The P3000 pump is an off road pump. Dif governor setup then the on-road P7100.

Ah, then never mind. The 6BT version still cannot be used on the 4BT.

Actually the 4bt p7100 and p3000 pumps were both available with onroad type RQV governors.
