    Default turbo upgrade

    hi i have a 1984 chevy dually whith a 4bt cummins stock injectors stock turbo stock fuel pin whith the fuel turnd up a little bit whith sum big ass stacks the egts get a lil high when pushing it up a mouitain 1300 deg and pushing about 21 psi . Im puting a a intercooler off a 92 first gen dodge and i was wodering if the 6bt h1c turbo or sum turbo off a newer 6bt would be a better upgrade for my setup i have a big junkeyard a welder and lots of ingenewity thank you

    HE341's are good too.
    1994 Dodge Dakota Ext Cab 4x4. 4BTA 375hp and 720ft/lbs torque, 12.9 at 103mph 1/4.

    I like the he341 for most apps but if you tow heavy (say over 8,000 pounds) you may be better off with an hx35 due to the larger 12cm exhaust housing. I bet in your case (since its a dually) you will be happy with an hx35 and a good intercooler.

    hx35 with a 14cm
    or a hx35/40

    the hx35 out of a 94-02, 01-02 auto's have an HY35, 03-04 have the HE341. I am getting ready to put a HY35 on by 4bt. the hx will give you a little higher boost. hy/He341 will boost a little earlier but higher EGT's at High boost. HX is your best bet
