I see you have a bit of "restriction" in the exhaust right before the turn up, you'd better get that fixed ASAP

It's gonna be great! Nice choice on the radiator, now I am looking at one of those too. Tough part is finding an intercooler with matching core size without having to run two...

Next on the to do list is clutch, drive shaft, steering wheel, milk crate for a seat, and then go for a ride - and yes, there were no brakes mentioned....

You're going to get some more motivation quick, keep up the great work

I would trade both of my sisters for that truck. WOW!! Anyone want to buy a 67 F100 LOL. By the way the truck is looking good, You need to mount a set of pedals and a seat to cruise it around the block like that. We will require video of course

Let me know what you think of the paint scheme..... Pretty set on this I think.... but I can be talked out of anything....

I thin I like the black fenders and grille....

I like it, I'd go with a darker blue though. I'm picturing it with the black/dark blue from the 95-99 Chevy trucks. (Commonly referred to as "midnight blue")

What kind of bed are we talking, flat bed, pickup bed ?

The blue with black fenders would look good especially with a Pickup style bed. Start thinking about a completely different color for pinstripes which would separate and accentuate the two color paint scheme. The pinstripes will focus your attention to body lines which are promenent features, but down played by large areas of solid colors.

randy, i believe he said that he was doint a flat bed with wooden steak sides...

the colors look good but i like i would argee with the midnight blue, although the ford blue would match your engine.... i like the shade of blue my 150 is its called true blue but its more of a metallic darker blue...
    for reference

i'd go with a darker blue as well...and find a way to break up,just slightly, all that black in front...i realize it's hard to get perspective on all the body contours on a computer screen,so it might not be so bad once it's all together.

mounting the headlites in a large crome bezel would work wonders for the front.some crome trim would break up the black slab look.

and lose the giant polished big rig wheels.they don't fit in at all...black wheels with crome lug nuts, and maybe a small crome center.

if your gonna crome stuff, you might do things a little different, and just go with polished nickel.

    looking good...

I agree with the Chrome headlight bezel and the black wheels with chrome center and lug nuts. The Big rig wheel just seems out of place IMO.

    Just for record keeping.....

1947 Ford..... to Modern GM P-30 Chassis.....

I didn't know GM engineered this stuff to fit on a 47 Ford body with a 4BT...

i cant make this up... this IS indeed the P30 brake pedal assembly. The Pedal assembly even matches up with the radius of the dash and already HAD pre-existing holes. (See the 5/16" bolt attaching pedal assembly to front of dash)
(Why didn't I try this sooner??!!??)

    Enjoy
NOTE: (All I have to do is simply lengthen the pedal arm by 2 or 3 inches and maybe add a small 'S' bend to put it more towards the center of the truck in order to make foot room for the clutch pedal.)
