    Default bellhousing bolt pattern on dodge 5.9 adaptor?

    like every one i looking for the most inexpensive way to get a tranny behind my 4b.

    what is the bellhousing bolt pattern used on the dodge cummins adapter
    shared with is it the same as a 383/440? or 318/360 ect.
    or is it uniuqe to the diesel?

    looks like I will have to fab something for the SAE adaptor i have or bite the bullit and search for a gm or ford manual adaptor and flywheel..
    with either of those i can get it mounted to the tranny i want to use or one's i have on hand.

    The Dodge or Ford setups are generally the cheapest. The SAE's are not cheap either. Shop around before you jump in and buy. Check out the classifieds section on here.

    so it is also the same as the truck/viper v-10 interesting.

    Same as the truck V-10, I have not seen the bell housing on a Viper - but if you know it is the same bolt pattern, then yes.

    I got my NV4500HD out of a 1998 2500 V-10 4x4 and it bolted right up to the 1998 Adapter & Flywheel.

    But what BobS says is correct, and do shop around.

    For some reason I always seem to forget about the V10 engine. Probably has something to do with only seeing diesels and V8's.
