    I’m sorry about my lack of communicating better. This is a intercooled engine but if possible without hurting any thing I may go non intercooled for more ease of installation. I’m not going change RPM spring in engine and with highway gears I’ll be cruising low RPM at cruising or hwy speeds.

    I may have to go that route. I just love driving my old three speed on the columns. From what I’ve talked to owner about is the ivco transmission is a reverse shift pattern. The more I read about these air cooled diesels the more I want it.

    I want to run 70 comfortable but I’ll run 55-60mph more than 70. Since I’ve never drove one of these engines what rpm is good to use or what low rpm to higher rpm should I stay inbetween?

    there is some real tight areas around the engine and firewall on the trucks that these engines come in. In my case only one of the kits would work for my truck and its not made any more.
