I think I'm going back to the SBF ZF5. The shape of the bell looks like it will let me skip the body lift. If it doesn't hold up then I'll have the modular one stashed away for plan B.

I pulled the radiator I had planned to use out of storage and now I'm questioning if it's big enough. The finned area is 18x17x2. 2 core I believe. While trolling the site the smallest I've seen used successfully so far is 16x16 and 3 cores, so maybe it's fine.

Well nuts. Hit a snag. I tried to stab the transmission in today and it's just not happening without at least a 1" body lift, 2" to be safe.
Cut the trans tunnel out and bend up a new one to fit. Chunk of 18-20 gauges steel, bend or roll it. Weld it in. Seem sealer it. Done. One days work

These things are too packed with crap under the dash to move the tunnel up. I don't want custom carpet either.
