lee I was checking on the stak site.. Is there a gear ratio they are coming out with? Says .79 OD on their site...

od is proportional to the low gear. one day, they will make a .79od with a 2.7 underdrive.....

where's the pics, Rebel? ;)

I think this is a badass build, it's going to be sweet.
Seen one identical in Sheridan, Wyo. want it bad. Love Power Wagons don't know about power windows, Keep it simple.
Lee - just wondering where you found that as I would love to do one of those someday, are they more common down south than up north? What kind of $$ you talking, 0-$5000, $5000-$10,000 or up for a restoreable one? I know Paul in NY has one too. They were ahead of their time, a 1940's SUV. Thanks.
Steve
You and Paul in NY do some NICE work... looking fwd to seeing some pix of this latest project..

Ya. "Readers want to know" how you get these fantastic really old donors. We don't have any of these up north. I'm so jealous. Not fare!
I have a WC53 and it is up north

But I sure as heck do not have a 4bt . Once you cross the boarder the darn things seem to dissapear.
WC53 ,Nv4500 ,2 transfer cases ARBs and a few old school odds and sods.
Got a crawl ratio of 155 to 1 or some such thing.

But no 4bt .

What in THE hell? That looks like ass. You should be ashamed.

hehehehe. Got my eyes peeled for ya, bud. I'll be in touch. ;)
Lee,
we need some side pics and I want some pics of the trailer if ya don't mind.

CrewCab59
ok, i JUST got the transmission crossmember in.

i have 21" ground clearance to the bottom edge of the transfer case!!! thats nice, imo since i dont have any lift on the truck, just michelin xl tires.
You HAVE to come out to UT, we'll take a tour somewhere pleasant, with giant, family-filled rigs! Woo ha!

X2! No family in mind but you'll still have a blast Lee! I guess when that thing comes to Moab! :grinpimp:
Lee those pics look great, I can't believe how clean that WC-53 is! You're right looks like it almost belongs there especially with the high mount turbo / manifold.. Lee also, where did you get that remote filter housing there, I like :)
Lee, That thing looks awsome! With any luck my project will look half that good...
