Thanks for sticking with the forum. I dig the build very nice ?!
Thanks, hope more people take to the ISB common rails. With stock 170 hp and 420 torque, they are good numbers for 4 cylinders. Just want to keep showing peoples these are not as hard as they are made out to be for installations. Appreciate the positive comments, it’s great motivation to keep things rolling.

List is shrinking. Start installing calipers on the rear.

I thought I saw an ECM rebuilder that had a really good warranty but I don't remember which one it was...

Dual fans installed. Assembly is out of a 2006 charger, fits c10 radiator perfect.

Found a aluminum grill at the swap meet, $30. A little surgery was used and it looks much nicer than the other one I cut up.

Went down to bayshore truck and they are building the driveline. 1480 joint in front with a slip and stub to a 1350
Rear joint.

No one makes 5/8-11 60 degree lug nuts to fit a torq thrust wheel. Order some coupling nuts on McMaster and turned a 60 degree seat in them. Another item off the list. Think this thing will be driving real soon.

Driveshafts in and installed. Took the truck around the block last night and it’s a torque machine. Lights the tires off like it’s on ice. Can’t wait for tail lights and headlights to come in. I’ll try and figure out a video soon.

You sort see why diesels don't need to have tons of horsepower. That low end torque makes itself very know if your right foot gets a bit heavy. Just imagine trying to take off from a stop light on a wet street. Always sort of liked Teddy Roosevelt's motto of "Walk softly and carry a big stick". That's kind of what having a turbo diesel is like.

I have been driving the truck and it’s a blast. All the neighbors stop me and go for a ride. Just running around locally. I got the headlights in and got the turn signals integrated in the headlight. Going to change the turnlight in the hood to intake scoops for colder air into the air filter. Ordering new rear taillights and reverse lights. Once they come in, I can venture into town.

Thank you to Thermal Zero. Hx30w blanket fits my HY30W turbo perfect as well. Keep some heat in this thing and out the engine bay. Need to order a stead speed manifold and then talk to them about a blanket for it.

Swapped springs to 75 c30 springs. Rides like a Cadillac, just 4” to high now in front. Slowly start cutting coils this week to get ride height set.

Driving update:
Put 110 miles on truck this weekend. Truck drives great and the C30 springs in front are perfect. Weather has been 100+ and cooling system is handling it great, engine runs 180 all day and oil temp 190. The trans gets to 160 and the cooler kicks in keeping it at 145. I did replace the Chevy 6.5 fuel pump with a FASS 110 gph, this has solved a fueling issue. I did make a homemade boost fooler with a 220 ohm resistor across the 5volt and MAP signal wire on a toggle switch. This tricks ecm thinking it has 17 psi boost off idle and it really lets the fuel come in faster and spook quicker. These ECM are super conservative on fueling. The ecm will be sent out for work in 2 weeks. Truck does need new motor mounts, my teeth are rattled out. Got some liquid filled mounts and will be making a new setup to mount to the bellhousing. The 2” DOM poly mounts are just, well they are basically solid mounts and need to go.
