Okay, finally got the pictures resized.
I started with a 1989 Dodge RamCharger.
Found a Dovebid van nearby
Located a Dodge Cummins wrecked got the trans 47RH power steering pump
vacuum pump, trans adapter torque convertor and all the accessory brackets
I haven't weighed the two engines seperately but the ride height is 1/2" higher with the Cummins.
Motor mounts were one 1996 to 2002 Dodge Cummins passengers side mount. The drivers side is a 1986 Ford
silicone mount.
I have pictures.

Sounds like a great swap! How are those Dodge motor mounts on vibration?

Also i'm surprised you GAINED ride height! I had new front springs made 250lbs heavier per side and replaced my Dodge 360-3/NP-435 trans with 4BT and Dodge NV4500 and ride height is now the same. 4BT weighs 175+ lbs more than a 360, but your tranny may be a little lighter than my 200 pounder, plus its bellhousing, 12.25" flywheel, clutch etc?

rtstump. Can you post some pics or e-mail me some? I'd love to see it. I'm doing an '84 RC with a 4bt right now. Lots more than just a swap, though.

Looking good, man, very nice install! I hope someday to do something similar on my '67 Dodge.

Nice fit. Which exhaust manifold did you use?

1989 Dodge R/C

I cut down a 6BT.
Thanks guys. I was trying for a rig that would have readily available
repair parts.

Thanx.

Just as a note I combined all the five threads into this one thread as it is the same topic on the same vehicle posted on the same day. I believe everything made it over without anything getting lost.
