When I took my truck apart, I thought I took enough pics so I would know how everything works. I now come up short understanding some of the aspects of my radiator support. Here are my questions.

A. There are two rectangular holes (#1 and #2). What function do they serve?
B. The lower sections (#3 and #4) seem to be there so to tie the support to the fenders. Is that right? Is that all?
C. There are two odd heavy-wire things (both #5). What are they for?

Thanks for looking,

Roy

I have a '90 F250 7.3 which should have the same support section as a F350. I'll try to remember to look tomorrow and see what use if any those spots are.

On my 86 the 1 & 2 holes are for access to the park light/indicator bulb holder, guess they are the same for yours.

Thanks. That makes sense. They are, however, not exactly the same size...I imagine something "gets in the way," forcing a different hole shape (a battery tray, or something like that).
