I just picked up a wrecked 1998 Dodge pickup with a 24v 5.9 and an automatic transmission. I am going to put the motor in a 1990 Dodge pickup with an nv4500. What do I need to change? Do I need a different computers?

You will need all the engine wiring and computers off the 24valve truck, the 1990 has very little electronics to make the Cummins run where the 24vlave truck has tons. I have both a 93 and a 99 and the 93 12valve is alot more reliable and way easier to work on then the 99, i have never had any engien problems with the 93 not the 99 though.
