47RH- PCU Questions

I have a 47rh that I am planning to use behind my 4bt, and I have considered using a pcu from a 94 dodge-cummins 5.9 as a controller instead of toggles and pressure switches to control OD & LU... does anyone know what inputs are required to make this work as I have gone thru the old threads and there is a lot of speculation and conjecture on what is needed, so I thought a more updated post might help out... what I have gathered so far is you need inputs from the; (1) OSS or VSS (2) TPS (3) transmission temp sensor... not sure about the tach output, crank position sensor, brake switch, etc... since the RH-trans doesn't seem to a line pressure output sensor to the pcu, I am thinking the that od and lu must be controlled mostly by the oss... anyways my goal is to have this build shift and perform like my 2nd gen 95 Dodge 12V 4x4... thanks.

Best approach, is to get the diagrams for the year controller you plan too use.
I had awhile ago, posted a link to an aftermarket controller, but it was removed for some reason, so not posting that link again.
Good Luck

Thanks Subrutus, my 47rh came from a 94 12v 4x4 and I found a pcu from the same year for $150, I have not purchased it yet, as I was also looking into the compushift mini for the 47rh which sells for under $400, the mfg claims it will shift the trans the same as factory and can be programed via a bluetooth device... however they are out of stock currently, called the mfg and they are making a run of 500 units... meanwhile I'm on a waiting list and doing more research...

A factory pcu used @ $150 is a good deal if working properly. I found in my travels, that the harness that runs from controller to trans should be shielded...
Wrapping the harness in a good tape, then use aluminum tape wrapping that over the standard tape, then slide those long harness covers onto the harness too, overkill but will give the best service life to the harness.
