I have the option to purchase a low hour 4B 4.5 industrial spec engine... The interesting thing is it is a 8 valve mechanical pump motor.

Does anybody know much about this version:

Are belhousing adapters the same ?

Will a 3.9 exhaust manifold bolt on (to add a turbo)?

Can the industrial non turbo injection pump swap with a turbo spec pump (with boost compensation aneroid). ? Or can the industrilal spec pump be modified ?

So many questions ... so little time to decide...

4.5/3.9

major difference is bore and stroke, obviously rods, pistons, crank, The flywheel and housing will fit as long as it isn't a rear geartrain...exhaust manifold and other accessories will work....Fuel pump should be able to be modified by a good ADS shop.
