4BT air cleaner CFM requirements

Does anyone know what Cummins reccomends for a 4BT as far as CFM for an air filter , I have an air filter connected to a snorkel that is rated for 600 cfm,
Wondering if this is restricting air flow causing high EGTs ?

If that one wouldn't clear I doubt one of the UMP units would either. They make a first class filter setup but they are not small or cheap. Here's a photo of one a member used in a 6bt setup. He had dual batteries but both were on the driver's side which left the area on the passenger's side open for that huge filter.

The UMP Mega Filter w/5" in & 4" out is good for 450 HP flow....
