1. Will a 94-98 6bt cummins flywheel trans adapter housing in the dodge ram pickups, bolt to a 4bta engine to adapt a dodge automatic trans to it?

2.Also is the 47rh or the 47re electronicly controlled at all?

thanks for th info,

but on the 47 re what exactly is electroniclly controlled is it everything? Does it have to have a computer and if so can you make it work on a non electronic engine?

On the 47RH, only the lockup torque converter and the overdrive solenoids are electrically controlled. You can deal with them with switches, or possibly adapt a Dodge PCM to the 4bt. You will need to hook up a throttle position sensor and install a speed sensor in the transmission/transfer case.

Can you clarify about adapting vss and tps? Is this require for the RH? Sorry I'm still learning.
