I'm looking into putting a 4bt into an old willys jeep, im not completly sure on the model or year, tho i beleive it to be a cj3b. my main concern is about engine bay size and wheel base length pertaining to what transmission i can use. as far as i know the willys has a t-90. id love to use an nv4500 but i dont think theres a chance in hell thatd work out. has anyone done this? i do believe the wheel base to be about 12'' less than the average jeep.

-is it possible?
-is there enough room for any other manual tranny? (and t case of course)
-posibility of 4bt-borg-warner t-90 adapter plate?
-could a t-90 stand up to the 4bt

altough the 4bt is a great engine, the jeep would get too nose-heavy... i'd rather get an all-mechanical volkswagen 1.9tdi or a kubota v2203-di... the kubota can be get for cheap, since they're getting out from reefer units in california due to emissions...
