I have a 1995 Ford F150 2wd with a 5.0 V8. I'm at 260,000 miles and I'm saving the cash for the 4bt swap.
I can do basic things, but I am still learning an awful lot. Are there any reputable outfits or companies that actually do 4BT conversions if you pay them? Not to mention I'm in the Corps at A&M and I have no time to do this myself, nor location. Only place is at home, and I won't be there next summer.

There are a couple outfitts in the Vendor section which do swaps.

I have to wonder if you will not be better off finding a truck with a 4BT already in it. Or, even more better off finding a stock truck which will give you what you want. What's that, anyway? 2WD DD with good milage?

BTW, 260k is a lot of miles on things like tranny, differential, and such. If dumping a lot of cash into a new motor, you would also need to worry about your other high-milage parts.
