I was about to do a rear main in a 4bt and when I got to the rear main it was very different than my other 4bt rear main. The rear main seal on one of my 4bt's is very easy to replace. With this other one I am at a loss as to how to do it. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. See pictures. The pics that you can see the rear main is obviously the easy to replace one. The pics that you cannot see the rear main is the mystery one.

I think the one on the right has the flexplate adapter stuck to it. It does come off.

rear main seal

I tried to pull it. There isn't any seams. It appears to be machined but I might be wrong I will try to pull again.

the 6 or 8 bolts on the back keep it on.. You can see 6 of them in the photo there. I think they are 18 or 19mm heads if I remember correctly. The one on the right doesn't have the flexplate adapter on it..
