I wanna read up and know these thing inside and out before i even think of buying one.

i have a tach from auto meter(z-series) that goes to 5000rpm. my old man also has one on his vw and he likes it alot. it is an alternator pickup type. i payed 150cdn

There are several 4 and 5k RPM gauges out there, but I have yet to find one that is 5" in diameter. If you do find one, let me know

any one know if that tach adapter from destroked.com works with autometer gauges? and which pulse number to go by?

Here are some from S-W that I'm looking into. My alternator has the "R" stud in back so I can use one of these.
