Love the truck! I had a '50 3 window with a 216 and 3 speed when I was a freshman in highschool... (about 11yrs ago).. sold it cause I was dumb and broke. All original... ran and drove but needed a master cylinder... still kick myself.

Going to be watching this as I've wanted to get another one and do the same thing.

Good luck man!

That's an extremely clean engine.
It was, only oily behind the ps pump, & near the oil fills. 63K miles, from Georgia area.
Some of the engines seen on here, look as if they were out of a salt mine or fertilizer plant.
Even more alarming is to see guys working on them in such nasty conditions.

11 years ago, you are still just a kid,you have plenty of time to be real choosey, don't get a junker, you will regret that.
I don't know what is worse, the money or the time.

Is that an hx25? Size wise, it "looks" like it should light very quickly.

Went to the graveyard this morn, looking for parts.
Hope is running out for most of these guys.
If only I would have won that lottery 10 days ago
