hello guys im from tunisia !
using my truck for daly and offroad use and going 1 to 2 time to desert every year !
lately im thinking about putting a 6bt in the patrol , and there is some point i need to know
the 6bt im going to buy is the one with a P7100 pump cant tell from where he was taken !
i wat to try to do all the conversion by my self without buying ready to put kit
so the questions i want to share with all of u if :
1 anyone alredy done a bellhousing plate , is not difficulte im working on it in saolidworks and i have all mesurements but i want to avoid some stupid mistake
2 can we use of adjuste the flywheel and which one
3 witch clutch in the market can fit this setup
for the pump setup and upgradei can do it later after all this stuff is put in place :)

I don't recommend a 6BT for that, too big and too heavy. I'd look for something in the 2.5-3.5L range.

I have heard of a couple of Nissans here in Aus with 6BT's, no idea on how they were set up. Brunswick Diesels specialise in Chev Diesels, but they may know of kits for Nissans .https://www.brunswickdiesels.com.au/engine-conversions

I saw some setup in australia with the 6bt and the weight betwin the td42 and 6bt engin is around 100kg and i have alredy a HD coil and suspension (+250kg for the front)
Do u think , it dont work fine ???

well ! think about starting somwhere ! i already worked ont a plate for the M57 engine to a 2.8 missan gear box ! and i have the bolt pattern from a 4bt 5 dont know if its the same as the 6BT 😅) and i have a td42 clutch ! so dont thin is a big deal to find this or take mesure from womwhere ! here the pics of my work and a bolt patter for the 4bt if somone can tell me if its ok

dont use the 2.8 gear box it wont last.use a 4.2 box or a zd30 one but be aware they are only good for about 800nm
