You need to Paint your wheels like a Dull Silver color or maybe Hammertone Gray so they contrast with the Tires and Blue Paint on the body.
Been painting all my steel wheels Hammertone Gray (Rustoleum #7214) since the 1960's. I never could afford a set of American Mags so the best I ever got was a full set of 8" Split Rims which I was told by the Resident CAR Guy in our area to paint Silver so they contrasted with the Tire Black on the Tires and Body Color.. These were mounted to my '57 Chevy Sedan Delivery ('57 Chevy Wagon with the back windows paneled over) which was painted a disgusting Chocolate Brown and with the 8.00+ x15 Maypop used tires I got from behind the gas station for $1 each,,, I was Stylin' Big Time. !!! Some girls actually made it into the back!
I always attributed my getting lucky with the Silver Paint on the wheels!
AWH .. W.R. You'd built yourself a Rassle Castle ...
NOW I'd say I'd paint those wheels Argent Silver .
As I sold DuPoint paint for 30 years i my past . & ALL THE old dodges & Ford silver wheels were call argent silver .
... BUT I THINK I found some RustOleum that I used on the last set of wheels .
