on the engine i got the mounts are on the front. is this for a reason, weight or something. i think using the rear mounts would be alot easier to fab something up. just not sure if its going to make the front of the motor wanting to see saw. my trans and transfer case are pretty heavy. nv4500 and np205 would this counter act this. any input or ideas would be great by the way it a 94 jeep.

The 205 is pretty heavy and should close to balance the transmission, so you should be fine with either mounting location. I really dont think it would matter one way or the other anyway. When the engine and tranny are together, they act as a single unit. So, moving the mounts 10-12" forward on the engine should not make any difference. I would go with what is easiest and the stronger mounting point in your chassis.

I found that moving the mounts to the rear on the motor war problematic due to things being in the way (starter, turbo oil return, etc).
