Mine are 3/8 - 16 x 1-1/2" zinc plated hex heads grade 5 used with flat washer 3/8" id x 7/8" od x 1/16" thick and a standard size lock washer. Some came with a slightly shorter hex flange head bolt that were about 3/16" shorter in length. The length is measured from the threaded end back to the underside contact point of the hex head bolt. Use a plated bolt with a copper based anti seize on the threads or they will corrode in place forever. Check your thread length before you install the bolts to make sure the bolts are not bottoming out in the adapter. Also use a torque wrench when you install them. Remember you are threading steel into aluminum therefore the torque will be less than in a steel to steel situation.
