was looking to run a 4l80 behind my 6bt, but seems like it might be easier to just get a dodge overdrive trans to run in it. which one am I looking for that has a lockup converter? lots of numbers but not sure which one has it.

47rh is what I use when I do auto conversion. You can use toggle switches or pressure switch to run the TC and ,OD.The cost to build one to last is about $3900.00 This trans will hold 500rwhp and 1000 ftlb, Warranty 100,000 on trans ,life on tripple loc TC.

The Rh are 94-96 it does have lock up and over drive, no Cp to run it.Look at my first post!

The re 96 and up has to have a cp to run it ! it also has lock up and od !

thanks for clearing that up. someone told me to be careful that some of the 94-98's didnt' have lockup so I wanted to make sure. I guess these are better than a 4l80 overall? i've put off my conversion a little while longer until I decide exactly what to do with the trans situation. it needs to be automatic and have overdrive.
