Has anyone seen problems with bully dog tuners for 03-05 dodge trucks? MY cousin put one on his truck and it roached the trans in a few thousand miles. He had the trans gone through and upgraded a bit. Got it back in and it started acting up, a lot. Took the tuner off and its fine. Any advice or input from anyone on this issue would be appreciated.

Sounds about right for any tuned Common rail dodge. You need a well built trans to be able to handle any kind of power. What power level he drives it on and how he drives it makes a big difference in trans longevity.

He removed the tuner and the trans didnt act up, for a while... About 100 more miles and in stock form it was acting up again.

Turns out the damn check ball (in the trans lines) was causing issues. I didnt know dumbass chrysler still put those in the trans lines. Drilled 'er out and all is good. Put the tuner back on and already towed his 8K trailer.
