Hello,
I'm piecing together the parts for my Dodge CTD NV4500 setup. I'm guessing I need a clutch fork spring, but I don't see any mounting holes on the fork for this spring. Is this suppossed to have one??
Thanks,
Mikel
There is no spring on the clutch fork for return. There is a spring clip to keep the fork attached to the pivot. With the Dodge system there is a spring inside the clutch slave that keeps pressure on the clutch fork.
when i assembled one here this fall it kept falling off the pivot so i used some fine wire to hold it on until it was bolted in place then pulled the wire out the rear of the bellhousing holes.
