Rummaging through the last 12 years of archives for info on 353 & 453 injector details, I came across a few charts ..some which appear quite old.. that may help someone new to the boards in picking their injectors for their DD projects. These were mostly compiled and discussed previously by many knowledgable members, some whom are still here. These are by no means comprehensive in all the possible injector part numbers offered by DDC, but a good start on the ones most 353 & 453 "builders" would primarily be interested in. If anyone has any charts with newer and/or more complete details, cut & past here

Great !! thanks for the contribution. Ill have access to a late 80's to early 90's (publication date) DDC "Field Service Data Book" soon. It should show if there were any newer/updated injectors available after the "Silver" versions of the 353T, 453T engines were released in mid-1984. Prior to that only the "green" version of these 353T & 453T engines were available.

The pages I posted are from a 1985 "Field Service Data Book" it will be interesting to see the newer one. Lots of good info in the little "Book".

Here are the Detroit Diesel injector summary charts from a 1991 "Field Service Data Book". Lots or repeats but I see some new ones as well. A bit disappointing they stopped listing the # of holes in the tips and their diameters, as part of this data by 1991. Maybe those details are listed in a different DDC publication. I guess you can back into the tip info by cross referencing the tip part number. At least the fueling range (calibration) is listed for each injector.. These charts should capture any new or updated injector information for the "Silver" 53 series engines released in 1984.. Other engine series are shown as well.

I have (in France) an Allis Chalmers HD15 Detroit Diesel 6 cylinder 2 strokes. I have to change two injectors that I have to synchronize. I'm quite annoyed..
