Hello, this is my first question on this great forum. I have a Benford Dumper equipped with a Deutz F31011 engine. Now I want to renew Timing Belt and also belt for Hydraulic pump, I have timing pins and I have also information how to do this work but I want to know tensoin of those two belts in Newton (or lbs). Deutz have a special belt tension gauge with a special scale but I can´t find a gauge of that type here around and I´m living on an island in Finland so there will be problem to rent one.
I have an universal Digital belt tension gauge I could use if I had those tensions in for ex. Newton, can anyone help me with this?

Best regards

Hi Tage, Welcome to 4btswaps. Have you tried contacting Foley Engines in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA? They have a video on youtube which shows the process of replacing the timing belt on the 1011 and 2011 series engines. They have an aftermarket belt tension gauge available, which you could probably purchase. I would contact them,
