Hi
Larry Broman here the owner of a very nice (read no rust/dents) 1968 m715.im a retired welding instructor from alaska now residing ( since 1989) in Coos Bay Orygun. i picked up the m715 about 6 months ago and me and the boys got it going and play with it frequently whilst out prospecting. the 4bt swap intrigues me cuz wifey wont let me take the 7.3 out of the dually :pissed: really though... trying to get any parts that arent way over priced for the existing 230 is tough to come by. I am also a member at the new M715 zone and FSJ board.. here is a link tp some pics of the Koostakah... Alaskan Indian for "forest beast"

Greetings and welcome.

I have always had a soft spot for the M715s. Tried buying one several times to no avail. Anyway, if you havent heard or read, mcinfantry (Lee) is a member here. He put a 4b in a 715...... this started me down the road to swap in a 4b. He is a wealth of knowledge and super nice. If ya know him, them Im not telling you anything new.
