The F3L912 standard engine was 54 HP max. Not sure whether that included the turbo model. Here's a BF3L912 turbo engine in a Ford Ranger.
Not sure what the power level was. Back in 1983-1984 Ford put a small Perkins diesel in the Ranger which had 59 HP. In 1985-1986 they change to a Mitsubishi turbo diesel which had 86 HP. The new 2022 Ranger diesel is 247 HP. Sort of makes those early ones look like lawn mower engines.
