Diesel cruiser gurus,

Will the H55f stand up to the 4bt, with the 4bt running
slightly "tweaked" to 120hp??

Thanks

I think so. Good question though. I know of a few with it already that have been holding up fine so far.. I really like the gearing and driveability of the H55F..

make sure you fit a full width transfer input gear. i see them fail there all the time. 4 inches of spline to use, and toyota used 1. otherwise it should stand up ok.

Is this the transfer case upgrade gear, that is the aftermarket upgrade?

marks adapters also sells transfer case gear kits that give an 8% overdrive in high range. then lower low gears.

the H55f doesn't have much overdrive. Henry Cubillian is running one with his 4BT... and is running 35's and 3.73 gears to make up for the low overdrive.
