Subject says it all. I have a frined who thought he bought a GM 4BT and instead bought a Ford. No big deal, but we are wondering how good the Advance Adapters NV4500 to Ford adapter is and if it will work well in this application. It is a T18 or 19 (I forget) behind the 4BT so it is a standard...

Any thoughts appreciated!

Advance Adapters sells a Ford pattern to NV4500 adapter. It is good because the person can then use the 23 spline regular duty NV4500 which is the shortest (short wheel base truck). Also the Dodge adapter requires a tight fit/trimming because it is so wide...

So I'm curious if people have used the AA setup. Thanks, Andre

The Ford-nv4500 adapter works great.

If you have a chevy NV4500 it's an easy way to go. Just swap in the dodge gas input, run an 1 1/8" 10 spline clutch disc and bore the ford pilot bushing to fit the .750 dodge input and it bolts up.
