Is there anyone running or thinking about upgrading their fuel filter setup? I have aquired a fleetguard FS1000 its massive compared to the one thats on and filters down to 10 microns as opposed to 25 micron It cost virtually the same as the standard one aswell. If 25micron is good then 10 micron must be better and the size difference must mean it will last longer.

The best method is to run a primary filter of 20 - 30 microns and a secondary of around 10 microns. This way you catch the "boulders" in the primary and the smaller particles in the secondary.
