Hello all and happy Thanksgiving! Can someone please tell me if the fuel line going into the injection pump is supposed to have an o-ring, and if yes what size please? Mine is leaking some and I am hoping it is just missing the o-ring…..
It is a VE pump 0460424027 on a 4BT

They have flat/copper washers for a seal. Have you had the Banjo bolt out and dropped the washer?
Could try gently tightening the Banjo bolt.

There are 2 fuel lines connected to the injection pump. There is a feed line from the fuel filter and that one shows no sealing washers of any kind. See diagram below. The second line is a fuel return and it has a banjo type fitting and would have 2 flat sealing washers. I believe the part number for those is 3963983. If there is any type of washer on the pump end of the feed line Cummins doesn't show it.

Sorry, I have a banjo on mine but originally it had an adapter in there and the original line had a compression fitting on it.
The adaptor has a sealing washer the same as the banjo bolt.
