It's about time in my build to get a fuel tank settled in my 84 chevy. My saddle tanks are shot so I was thinking about going with the K5 31 gallon tank. Problem is I have no idea what fuel sender I need to drop in there to feed my 96 P pumped 12v. Rock auto has anywhere between 2 and 4 outlet senders of different depths and I'm guessing different designs for gas and diesel applications. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From memory K5 Blazer with 6.2L diesel might be the one to look at. It should have on tube for the outlet and one tube for the return. There might also be a third tube for a vent. I believe the late 80's version did not have an internal pump.
