Hi,
I am a newbie and need advice.
i have a mint 86 Ford E-150 van (customized very nice inside and out)

The van has two tanks and 60K original miles.

I have a VW TDI and i love the Diesel concept.

I am thinking about putting a diesel engine in this van.

I was thinking about putting an engine from a donner van (say a diesel E250)

Someone recommneded a 4BT...
What is the best engine, and has anyone done it?

Does anyone have any advice ? My main concern is doing it as easily as possible (because i dont have a lot of free time) i need something that will drop in fairly easily.
I was also hoping i can use the same fuel tanks (it has two) does anyone know why this might be a problem?

I would like to convert it to run on Veggie oil too (will be makeing this conversion on my Jetta TDI soon.

Any advice appreciated
Regards..

easy to work on and van just dont go together for me.

a powersmoke may be easier if you had a junked diesel van. I have heard the e250/350 diesels are the HARDest to work on when doing a WVO conversion.

good luck,mo
