Hey all. I am STUCCCCCKKKK trying to get the timing cover off my b3.3. It seems like some part of the pto is attached to the actual front engine cover. The service manual doesn’t really help. Just says to remove the pto bearings first. Any ideas? I can’t really get a bearing puller in there since the shaft is there.

Could the bearing be jammed between the shaft and timing cover rear plate? Maybe try snugging down the cover with a few bolts and then grabbing the bearing with a large Channellock and turning back/forth while pulling on it.

I have a QSB3.3, put haven't had to pull the timing cover.
