High fuel consumption

Need some advice on what to adjust/test to reduce fuel usage.
I am using around 16 litres per 100kms driving sedately, I’m becoming a old man.
I only get black smoke on hard acceleration before boost comes on, once boost builds its clean.
I have only had the car on the road for a few months after installing a 4bd1t with a compound setup [HE221 and a WH1C] and a 4l80e auto ,I am running AT 225/95/16 = 33” tyres.
The full load screw has been backed off, control rack bolt removed there is no boost or altitude compensator is fitted, I am happy with the performance of my 2800kg 4x4.
Using a MADMAN EMS 3 gauge for all the pressure and temperatures ,all the sensors have been calibrated with recently calibrated test gear.
HE221 set at 35 psi
WH1C has a 12psi spring
Tial waste gate opens at 21psi
Air regulator is fully open

Gearing looks good, you're pushing a bit of weight around. How does your aerodynamic profile look?

I'd expect a 2.8 ton 4wd with 4sp auto in best case to be using around 12 litres/100km. If you throw in chunkier tyres and worse aerodynamics you're probably not going to be much better than 14 litres/100km.

I'm half a ton lighter, manual, probably better aerodynamics and get 10litres/100km on a road-trip. 12 litres/100km general driving.

For comparison. A guy I knew had a 2.4 petrol Toyota Previa which was burning 14 litres/100km.

I’d love to try a 225/95/16 tire. Certainly not something we see here in the ‘States but I’d wager they are a great tire for fuel economy.

Fuel economy is one of the reasons I got these tyres price was another ,they are off a brand new Toyota troopy ,OEM troopy tyre is 225/95/16 in Australia , most people are putting alloy rims with fat tyres.
