I have 3 tops for my Scout and all of them have rust in different areas. If I combine them, I can have one good top. My question is, how can I separate the seams without destroying everything. Here are a few pics. Thanks for the advice. ImageUploadedByAutoGuide1431126917.930177.jpg ImageUploadedByAutoGuide1431126932.737621.jpg ImageUploadedByAutoGuide1431126945.751954.jpg

Does not show too clearly but rough guess would be to drill out the spot welds. Only drill deep enough to release the weld.
Use the drilled spots to re-weld them together.

your auto paint store will have the special bits to use in drilling the spots---you may need to sand along the seam to see where all the spots are--try not to drill all the way through---if you are doing it right you may hear little snap sounds when they release.....
