Well, after some severe pressure from my wife I bailed out of the bidding on my chioce of trucks on the dovebid auction. The one I wanted had a fairly fresh rebuilt engine. It was in a Ford chassis with the manual transmission. What I really wanted was one of each of the Ford and Chevy chassis. I prefer the Chevy exhaust/turbo/ps setup and the Ford bellhousing for my next project. Since I can't seem to finish the current project, and I don't have room to park another vehicle at home I listened to my better half and didn't buy the motor of my dreams. The closing price was $1550, but who knows where it would have ended with another bidder. I quit bidding at $1100 and just sat an watched. I wanted it bad! I hope the new owner puts it to good use.
How did everyone else do today?

I think I got one

I am a little suspisious of what I bid on . A 4bt with like 20 thousand miles on it ? In a late 70,s ford van . If all this turns out to be true I will be one happy guy . All I want is the motor. Once I get it home I will sell the sdapters and junk the rest .

They worked yesterday when I posted them but in the mean time DoveBid killed the links. In the past they usually worked for a month or more. :(
