Since some of the guys were talking about these on the list.
450 lb motor that redlines at 4k... The info says Offroad use only and Non EPA compliant. HOw do swappers get around this using the IH or say a Cummins3.3 Motor?

I see the 2.8 is on Ebay, Looks like an interesting swap and much lighter than Cummins 4bt. I would think the Cummins 3.3 might be as good a Choice though?

I was originally going to use the 2.8L TGV but cost and parts availability made me rethink using it. It seems like a great little motor but you have to pay a lot in freight and can only get your parts from one guy in Canada. 4BT might be heavy, but I can get most parts the same day as I need them.

I was thinking about that as well. Parts were a big issue. I would like to believe that any cummins engine is built better than a little automotive diesel engine. I know that the aftermarket has not made anything for the B 3.3 but I think that if conversions using these engines became very popular they might give us some goodies. I am shure any b series engine could easily take 30-40 psi of boost. I have stood next to a couple of 5.9's and they are just amazing to look at. To think that a chevy 350 has almost the same displacment, but the cummins it just gotta be 2 or 3 times bigger. If anyone is a turbocharger expert maby they could inlighten us to see if there is any turbo upgrades available for the b 3.3
