I have a 3.9 with a ford belhousing and a t19 behind it. Im planing on putting it in my 86 cj 7. Im wondering if i can use a t-150 tranny out of a jeep? I think the input shaft is about an inch to long but i think i can make a spacer for it. It would make my life a lot easier if i could runy this tranny with the dana 20 behind it so not to have to make driveline mods. Any inputs? Thanks

hey welcome to the jeep club :D anyway im puting one in my 79 CJ5 and i just sold the t-150 cause the motor is probably going to rip it up and the fact that its a three spd sucks. but im going with a chevy sm465 and np205 t-case much much stronger combo IMHO. also the sm465 has a first gear ratio of 6.55 :happyfinger: you do what you want but heres a link to my thread in florida jeepers....--->http://www.floridajeepers.net/viewtopic.php?t=40167
