Just picked up my engine and I have some questions. My CPL number is 1260, and up where the ID tag says model number it reads B3.9 105 but stamped over the 105 is 120. The last digit of the ref. number is also stamped over with a 5. At the bottom right hand side where it reads estimated HP it say 105. This engine was setup with an intercooler, and it was built in 1993. It has an H1C holset turbo on it as well. I guess I'm just not sure what I have yet. Do I have a 4bt with the 17.5:1 CR or a 4bta 16.5:1 CR? I dont see a REMAN emblem anywhere on the engine. Thanks

Dan

1260CPL was built in both HP ratings 105 & 120 with the 120 torque on the 120 at 300 and the 105 at 265 both at 1700 rpm w/timing both at factory set at 1.25MM lift set the timing up to 1.65MM to run a lot better

I would venture a guess that it is still 17.5:1, just the intercooler was added
and then the tag was stamped

Thanks guys. Still learning all of this. I may be putting the project on hold for a little bit as I may be moving and starting a career that got thrown in front of me. I'm still gonna collect parts and such but the build date may be moved back and also depends on the legal standpoint in Illinois. I'll know Friday.
