looking at 4BT with manual tranny. I have a Turbo 400 that I want to use in my CJ7. If the engine is tilted, is it a GM bellhousing? I'm assuming that if it is a GM housing, it will work with my 400 like a car would. It is supposed to be an old frito truck but I haven't seen it. Any info would be appreciated.

The tilt is in the Gm/Cummins adapter .

You need to become familiar with the following thread:

http://4btswaps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=841 <=GM & Ford stepvan trans info & identification

The pictures in that thread should confirm exactly what you are looking at.
