Looking for a cad model of the oil pan to customize and make out of aluminum, and lower profile.

There was a 4BT industrial CAD model which came through the fire services. But it might not be the oil pan you're looking for. It's front drop and has external detail only.

If you want it. PM me your email address and preferred cad format.

Are you looking for 4bt or 6bt? One of our members, Ryanroo, is a machinist and built a custom 6bt aluminum pan which is a work of art. A 4bt would be basically the same only shorter in length. Just take care in your design not to decrease the oil capacity by any significant amount. Might add side compartments like the 427 Cobra oil pan shown below. There are even dry sump pans out there but that's a whole different thing.

It might be a good starting point. How shallow can these pans get before causing issues?

I’ve looked into the dry sump, not going that route. It’s in my early bronco which is fine so far, but wanted to get a cleaner look under there at some point.
