I had a machine shop "check" my block. Hot tanked,
Light Automotive tire Auto part Gas Rim
Automotive tire Bicycle part Rim Engineering Auto part
Gas Composite material Wood Auto part Bicycle part
Automotive tire Bicycle part Rim Composite material Auto part
cylinders were re-bored, new expansion plugs. Upon picking it up, the shop said the deck was fine. He said it has a little pitting here and there but was straight. I am use to machine shops trying to doing more than i ask for so was suprised to see the deck wasn't milled. I was wondering what others think about this. It will not be a performance build, just stock, but i am still baffled as to the deck not being milled. Also, i know that Cummins re-mans use an X for every .010 but has anyone seen this large "M" and S?

Thanks,
Fred

Thanks, i brought it up with the shop as they were loading it up just to make sure it wasnt an oversight. I got a pretty abrupt "it's fine!" so i just thought i would double check with some opinions.
